Privacy Policy — spotra

This policy explains what we collect and why. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not use analytics or advertising SDKs.

1. What we collect

2. How we use it

To provide the app: show the map, let you post and discover spots, run social features, and moderate content. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We do not track you.

3. Who processes your data (sub-processors)

Supabase — hosting, database, authentication, and file storage (region: EU, eu-central-1).
Amazon Web Services (AWS Rekognition) — automated safety check of uploaded photos for objectionable content. Photos are sent to AWS solely for this check; AWS does not use them to train models and does not receive your identity.
Apple — Sign in with Apple authentication.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security terms.

4. Location details

Location is used to display nearby spots and to tag spots you create. Public spots are visible to other users at the location you posted them. Do not post spots at private residences or sensitive locations you do not want shared. You can deny location permission and still browse the map at a default region.

5. Content moderation

Uploaded photos are automatically checked for objectionable content, and spot text is filtered for prohibited content, before or shortly after publishing. Users can report and block content and each other. See the Terms of Use for enforcement.

6. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your spots in the app. To delete your account and associated data, contact [email protected] and we will remove it within a reasonable period.

7. Children

spotra is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
