This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through our mobile application, Pet Garden ("App"), and any related services, sales, marketing, or events.

1. What Information Do We Collect?

Automatically Collected Information

When you use our App, certain information may be collected automatically, including:

• device information such as device model, operating system, version information, and basic app activity
• anonymous authentication identifiers used to operate the App and associated cloud features
• push notification device tokens, if notifications are enabled on your device

Information Collected Through the App

• Camera and Photos: With your permission, the App accesses your camera and photo library so you can capture or upload images of animals for analysis and digital pet generation.
• Pet and Garden Data: We collect and store the pet-related information you create in the App, such as pet names, moods, generated pet icons, pet positions, garden layouts, background selections, widget frame selections, and related garden state.
• Shared Garden Data: If you use the Shared Garden feature, we collect and store the data needed to pair users and synchronize the shared experience, including invite codes, shared garden membership, shared pet state, positions, and related shared garden preferences.
• Subscription and Purchase Information: We process subscription status and entitlement information through RevenueCat and Apple to manage premium access. We do not receive your full payment card details.

2. How Do We Use Your Information?

We use your information to operate and improve the App, including to:

• Provide core app functionality: analyze uploaded animal photos, generate pet avatars, and power your personal and shared garden experience
• Support AI processing: securely transfer uploaded images to our backend and third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, strictly for animal analysis and avatar generation
• Enable local widget functionality: store and share certain pet and garden data locally through iOS App Groups so the Pet Garden Home Screen Widget can update on your device
• Enable Shared Garden synchronization: store and sync shared garden data through our backend so paired users can see the same shared garden state across devices
